About Makis Studios
Makis Studios features two individually designed buildings with 24 air-conditioned studios, each with a private balcony or terrace furnished with a table and chairs. All studios are bright, modern, and equipped with a kitchenette and private bathroom with shower.
Choose between:
- Twin / Double Studios – perfect for couples or friends
- Triple Studios – ideal for families or small groups
Location
Our central yet peaceful location means everything is within easy reach. Skala’s golden beach is a short stroll away, offering crystal-clear waters, plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, and water sports. In the village, you’ll find a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops, along with a Roman Villa showcasing ancient mosaics.
Nearby, nature lovers can visit the nesting grounds of the endangered Caretta Caretta sea turtle or explore Kefalonia’s famous beaches and attractions with guided tours or rental cars.

For summer 2025, our on-site pool, breakfast service, and pool bar will not be available. However, guests of Makis Studios can enjoy full access to the swimming pool, breakfast, and bar facilities of our nearby partner property – La Skala Vista Hotel.
Other facilities at Makis Studios include:
